Daniel J. Wojcik, CPO, P.T., President

Daniel J. Wojcik joined the staff of Nelson Prosthetic and Orthotic Laboratory in 1995. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy at Daemen College (Buffalo, New York), in 1992. He first worked as a staff Physical Therapist at Buffalo General Hospital where he discovered his passion for working with prosthetic patients. Dan left the hospital to attend Northwestern University to study the field of Prosthetics. He became certified in Prosthetics in 1997 and later obtained his certification in Orthotics in 2001 by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics (ABC). Dan has taken particular interest in Prosthetic Gait Analysis. He enjoys teaching yearly classes to the students of Niagara Community College's Physical Therapy Assistant Program. Dan is an active member of the American Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP), and has served as the past President of the Academy's NYS Chapter Board in 2005-2006.

Joyelle Krysztof, CPO

Joyelle Krysztof received her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University at Buffalo in 1999, where she graduated with honors. She joined the Nelson Staff in 2000, and in 2001 completed the Long-Term Certificate Course in Orthotics at Northwestern University (Chicago, Illinois). Joyelle became an American Board Certified (ABC) Orthotist in 2002 and later received her Prosthetic Certification through ABC in 2004. Joyelle enjoys staying updated with the newest technologies available on the market. She takes pride in spending time with her patients and helping them along through their recovery process.

Donald House, CPO, P.T.

Don received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from Daemen College (Buffalo, NY) in 1992. He worked as a Physical Therapist in acute care, short term rehabilitation, and out-patient orthopedic settings and became a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy in 1999. Don joined the staff at Nelson in 1999 and completed the Cerification Program in Orthotics at Northwestern University (Chicago, Illinois) in 2000. He became an American Board Certified Orthotist in 2001 then received his prosthetic certification from ABC in 2004. As a Nelson practitioner, Don enjoys working with a diverse caseload including a large number of pediatric and adult patients in both prosthetic and orthotic disciplines.

Corey Vogel, CO

Corey Vogel received his Associates Degree from the New York Institute of Massage in 2005. He practiced in the Massage Therapy field for over five years before deciding to change his career. In 2011, Corey joined the Nelson Prosthetic and Orthotic Laboratory Staff where he began his residency in the field of Orthotics. Corey became a Board Certified Orthotist in 2013. He has a passion for patient care and continues to educate himself in the field of Orthotics through continuing education courses. In addition to patient care, Corey also works as a Prosthetic Technician. Corey is currently an active member of the American Association of Orthotics and Prosthetics.
